Qadri confident to topple PML-N govt

HARIPUR: Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Dr. Tahirul Qadri said the incumbent regime would soon be sent packing, ARY News reported on Friday.

While addressing sit-in participants in Haripur, the PAT chief said the blood of those who martyred in struggle for the country would not go in vain.

He said once the PAT government came in power, it would form Hazara province.

The PAT chief slammed the Punjab government, saying it took him to stage sit-ins for months to get the FIR for Model Town tragedy registered. He also held the PML-N-led Punjab government responsible for the tragedy that left at least 15 people dead.

He told the participants that Haripur’s sit-in was a “symbolic funeral” of the government and nation would soon witness the “real funeral” of the PML-N government.

He reiterated that he ended his 70-day Islamabad sit-in to transform it into a countrywide movement.
