Qadri invites Altaf for tomorrow’s APC

LAHORE: Chief of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), Dr Tahir ul Qadri held a telephonic conversation with Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief, Altaf Hussain and invited him for attending the PAT-hosted all parties conference (APC) to be held on Sunday (tomorrow) – ARY News reports.

Dr Tahir ul Qadri told Altaf Hussain that this APC is being held over the incident that occurred on June 17 in Model Town, Lahore, which claimed 12 lives and scores of others were injured. He told that all the political parties of the country have also been invited to attend the APC.

Both the leaders also discussed the overall political scenario of the country and agreed upon bringing the culprits of Model Town Incident to justice by holding a high-level inquiry.

The MQM Chief extended his sympathies to the PAT Chief over the loss of lives of his party workers and supporters.

Moreover, Dr Tahir ul Qadri condoled him on the death of MQM MNA, Tahira Asif and stressed on the need of arresting her killers.
