Qaim fears mount in street crimes after barriers removal

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has went up against removing barriers from Karachi streets, saying the move will lead to surge in street crimes, ARY News reported Tuesday.

The meeting in this regard was held at the Chief Minister House today.

It was told during a meeting that barriers near residence of former president Pervez Musharraf and Bilawal House had not been removed for security reasons.

On the other hand, DG Rangers Sindh said paramilitary force is ready to remove all such barriers.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is reaching Karachi tomorrow where he will preside a meeting on law and order situation of the city.
