According to police, the internet celebrity’s brother strangulated her to death in the name of honour.
The suspect named Zahoor managed to escape after committing the crime. He has not been arrested yet.
Qandeel Baloch, was known for posting videos on social media websites, was married to a person named Aashiq Hussain, a native of Kot Addu, but got divorced. She also had a son during the marriage.
She complained to a news channel of subjected to domestic violence.
The deceased was also involved in the incident which led to suspending the membership of a cleric of Multan from the moon-sighting committee.
Her dead body was shifted to a medical facility for post-mortem.
