The HEC released its annual rankings of the top ten educational institutes within Pakistan and Quaid-e-Azam University topped the list in the general category with a relative score of 100. The University of Punjab came in second , followed by COMSATS Institute of Information and Technology in third place. Karachi University secured the fourth place in the list.
This is the second time in succession that Quaid-e-Azam University has topped the list, since it also secured the same coveted spot in HEC’s rankings for the year 2013-2014. University of Punjab had come in third place. Below is the authentic list of all educational institutes:-
These were the universities that had not been included in the list of HEC rankings:-
Iqra University from Karachi topped the list of Business schools, leaving behind Institute of Business Administration (IBA) and Lahore School of Economics.
Only two institutes formed the list in the Arts category, and National College of Arts gained the top spot. Indus Valley School of Arts and Architecture came in second.
National University of Science and Technology (NUST) topped the list of Engineering institutes while Agha Khan University came first in the Medical category.
