Quetta Gladiators upset Islamabad United in inaugural PSL T20 match

DUBAI: Quetta Gladiators Thursday defeated Islamabad United by eight wickets in the inaugural T20 match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) here in Dubai, ARY News reported.

According to details, Quetta Gladiators won the toss and decided to field first. Islamabad United scored 128 runs in 20 overs.

Quetta Gladiators soon proved their skipper Sarfraz Ahmed’s decision right as they showed the rival batsmen the way to pavilion.

After a loss of initial wickets, Misbah ul Haq and Russel Arnold resisted the gladiators scoring 41 and 35 runs respectively.

In return, Quetta Gladiators scored 132 runs in 16 overs, defeating Islamabad United by eight wickets.
