With ambulances moving past blowing sirens in a bid to shift dead bodies and injured to hospitals, the provincial capital remained restless today.

Unknown assailants injured a man in Shahbaz Town in first half of the day, within minutes to follow two brothers who were working at a barber shop also became victims of firing by armed motorcyclists.

After three hours, armed miscreants opened indiscriminate fire on laborers working at a welding shop and fled the scene.

Another incident took place at the Northern Bypass, where a man was killed due to firing.

According to SSP Operations Aitzaz Ahmed Goraya, there are multiple groups involved in Quetta unrest, however the law enforcers have conducted successful raids hunting down many of their members.

In just last two weeks, Quetta has seen witnessed killing of eight cops and nearly two dozens of citizens.

Police in the wake of recent incidents launched search operations in different areas on Friday night, apprehending nearly 250 suspects and seizing heavy arms from them.
