Quetta: Two terror suspects killed in police encounter

QUETTA: Two members of an outlawed group killed an encounter with police in Quetta, ARY News reported.

Two motorbike riding gunmen opened fire on police van near Darakhshan Housing Scheme at Sibi Road in the outskirts of Quetta, sources said.

Policemen chased the attackers, who opened fire over the police party after entering in a house of the area. Policemen retaliated the gun attack and killed the two terrorists, officials said.

Policemen also captured a bomb device, a grenade and other munitions from the house.

The slain terrorists were members of an outlawed outfit and were involved in acts of sabotage and terrorism, police officials said.

They were involved in a bomb blast at Bacha Khan chowk in January 2013 and bomb blast in Jaffar Express in Sibbi.

In two incidents of terrorism 17 persons were killed and over 100 were injured in two terrorism acts.
