Talking to media here on Saturday, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that Imran Khan’s detainment will be a foolish act. He said that the Government has been puzzled, while it should review its decision.
Qureshi said that if the Government demonstrates stubbornness, then it shall be responsible for the consequences, itself.
He said that PTI announced a long march on June 27 and July 9, which was quietly heard by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) and now a passion for celebrating the Independence Day with great zeal, suddenly aroused within its ranks.
The PTI leader maintained that the Independence Day must be celebrated, however said that there is entire country before the Government and it can arrange the celebrations anywhere, but should also not obstruct PTI’s long march.
