Rabia murder case: last call receiver appears before Punjab police

Rabia, a student of Kinnaird College For Women university, was found critically injured of bullet wounds in a five-star hotel of Lahore on July 29. Later, she had succumbed to her injuries on the way to hospital.

Police said Rabia had made at least three phone calls before she was shot dead. One of her last calls was made to Amir Khattak who is a government servant.

Amir Khattak himself appeared before police to clear the air on the issue.  He told that he was a friend of Rabia and she wanted to meet him, but he had denied any meeting.

A 9 mm pistol was recovered from the room where Rabia was shot. It could not yet become clear that how did the pistol reach into dustbin if it was a suicide.

Police have included four more people into investigation of the case.
