ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Railways and Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz leader Khawaja Saad Rafique had scoffed at the rally of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in Islamabad which was turned into a ‘Thanksgiving Day’ from a lockdown.

He also mocked the party claim of gathering one million people in the city. “One million people … and five thousand chairs, this can only happen in the rally of Imran Khan,” he said on Twitter.

Rafique questioned where were the remaining 990,000 people which the party claimed would come to the rally. “For God’s sake, please bring people to you rally,” he added.

In a reply to another tweet, he said that people have given them to mandate to work for the sake of the country, and not to bring a show of power.

PTI leader Mushtaq Ghani in response said that Khawaja Saad should realise that people are present in the rally despite the violence by Police. He has Rafique still not under the determination and enthusiasm of their worker.

Shireen Mazari also criticised Rafique and said that he cankeep on counting the chairs, while the rest of nation has seen a sea of people.
