A provincial interior ministry letter today informed PTI decision-makers that it has received credible information from their sources that Research and Analysis Wing was planning to target their rally that was scheduled to begin tomorrow.
It said that the Indian spy agency has made the terror plan to target their rally in unison with the Afghanistan’s National Directorate of Security (NDS).
While commenting on the newest terror threats that the PTI march received today, party Chairman Imran Khan said whenever in the past as well his party had tried to organise protests against Nawaz Sharif seeking answers for his alleged corruption, the government had always used threat tactics to stop us.
Khan said Raiwind March would go as planned and huge a turnout of people would gather on September 30 to support him and his struggle against corruption in the country.
Earlier on Thursday, Lahore High Court (LHC) gave permission to Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) to hold ‘Raiwind March’ tomorrow while remaining within the law and without affecting peace.
