Bombay velvet, a neo-noir drama and most ambitious film of Anurag Kashyap was supposed to release on this Christmas, now will release in May 2015. Since the release has gone to next year the director has enough time for promotion and Anurag has planned to shoot a promotional video with Ranbir Kapoor in 60’s style.
The movie is going through editing these days, Anurag and his team is ready to shoot the song in January. Ranbir has also given the dates for the video and the music for the song has already been composed by Amit Trivedi.
Ranbir is playing the lead role of a street boxer and Anushka Sharma will be playing an aspiring Jazz singer in the movie. This movie will be a full-fledged acting debut of filmmaker Karan Johar whereas Raveena Tandon and Kay Kay Menon are also playing key roles. This movie is awaited as some big names are part of this new flick of old style.
