Sindh Rangers ask citizens to report any suspicious activity

KARACHI: Sindh Rangers on Monday asked citizens to keep vigil on suspicious activities or persons in the backdrop of current security threats, ARY News reported.

“Being a responsible citizen, immediately report any such activity around you on Rangers Helpline 1101 through call, Whatsapp number 0316-2369996 through message or e-mail address [email protected],” a Rangers statement said.

The statement further said name of the informant would be kept confidential.

This announcement has been made after the dismal incident of Quetta blast which has claimed 70 lives and left more than 100 injured.

Earlier, in the morning unknown armed men killed Balochistan Bar President Bilal Anwar Kasi at Mannu Jan Road of Quetta. The dead body of the prominent lawyer was transferred to Civil Hospital. A large number of lawyers had reached Civil Hospital to receive the mortal remains of Bilal Anwar Kasi when the deadly blast hit them at casualty department of the hospital.
