Rangers deny allegations by 'a political party'

KARACHI: Sindh Rangers on Monday denied allegations leveled by a political party and termed it a move to distract the ongoing operation which is meant to ensure national security, ARY News reported.

In a statement issued by the Rangers spokesman on Monday, the para-military force will continue going after criminals irrespective of their tactics to protect themselves.

“Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) has been continuing its operation irrespective of any color, creed, language or race”, read the statement. “The suspects arrested in last few days were involved in serious crimes, with targeted killing on top”.

It was further stated, “Those having sympathies with killers and extortionists should be well aware that Rangers will continue to play its role in bringing every single culprit to justice”.

The spokesman also requested the public to inform the law enforcers about sectarian killers on the Rangers helpline.
