MQM had set up a temporary headquarters in PIB Colony after Nine Zero (90) was sealed by the law enforcement agencies.

MQM’s senior leader Farooq Sattar during his press conference on Tuesday asked his workers to gather at the PIB Colony office.

Rangers officials headed by Director General Sindh Rangers Major General Bilal Akbar visited MQM headquarters, Nine Zero, ‘to check security of the area’.

Earlier, the federal government decided to seal the offices of MQM across Pakistan with a likely ban on the political party.

The decision with regard to the ban on MQM will be taken within next few days, well-placed government sources said.

On the other hand, senior MQM leader Farooq Sattar in his recent press conference said that MQM completely denounces anti-Pakistan statements and would not allow ‘hostile acts’ to take place from its platform.
