Rangers issue details of arms recovered from Nine Zero

KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) on Tuesday issued details of arms seized during its raid at Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) headquarters Nine Zero on March 11, ARY News reported.

The Rangers spokesperson in a statement issued on Tuesday evening said that the arms cache recovered by the paramilitary personnel during March 11 operation included LMGs, SMGs, M4 rifles, G3 rifles, Repeaters and pistols.

The statement read that the law enforcers were provided 107 arms licenses, out of which 71 were bona fide, while 36 licenses did not match with recovered weapons.

The spokesperson stated that the licenses of 17 weapons were not submitted by the party.

It was added that so far 53 different arms are unlicensed, while the verification of licenses is also underway by the Home Department.
