Rangers nab 356 over violating hide collection code on Eid

KARACHI: Rangers arrested 356 persons over violating the code of conduct for collecting hides on Eid-ul-Azha, ARY News reported.

According to a Rangers spokesperson, 18,037 hides were confiscated on three days of Eid-ul-Azha while 356 persons, belonging from different political parties, were arrested.

The suspects include activists of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Ahl-e- Sunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ) and Sunni Tehreek.

He thanked all the persons who had reported the hides stealing cases on the Rangers helpline.
