Rangers nab three ‘hitmen’, explosives-laden bike recovered from Jamshed Quarters

KARACHI: An explosives-laden motorcycle was found from Jamshed Quarters area of Karachi on Tuesday evening, which was immediately moved away from the location, ARY News reported.

According to details, the motorcycle was parked outside a masjid, which was timely spotted and moved to Jamshed Quarters police station.

Police said the bomb disposal squad (BDS) members are currently busy defusing the explosives.

The area remains crowded for most of the time as several small businesses are based there, while a small food-street lying in the locality is also an attraction for the citizens especially in the evening.

Had the explosives detonated, it would have caused a disaster in the vicinity, but timely action by the police prevented any untoward incident.

On the other hand, Rangers conducted a raid in Abbas Town and nabbed three ‘target killers’ from there.

Paramilitary personnel also seized weapons from the suspects, who were whisked away to unidentified location for further interrogation.
