Rangers personnel arrived at the Ziauddin Hospital and remained there for some time, grilling the hospital employees. Sources informed that no arrest was made by the paramilitary force.
However, some medical records were seized during the raid.
The Rangers had also raided the hospital after Dr. Hussain’s arrest.
Meanwhile, at least 39 suspects including those associated with banned terrorist outfits were rounded up in different parts of the city.
In a joint targeted raid by police and Rangers in Peeraabad, Lyari and Joharabad on late Saturday night and arrested more than three dozen suspects.
A large quantity of cell phones and weapons were recovered from the suspects.
One office of a political party in Salar Compound in Lyari was also raided where three suspects were held.
