Rangers raid home of Sindh Home Minister Siyal

LARKANA: Rangers have raided the home of Sindh Home Minister Sohail Anwar Siyal in connection with the arrest of a suspect wanted by the paramilitary force, ARY News reported.

They are on the lookout for suspect Asad Kharal who is wanted in the killing of two Rangers personnel. The paramilitary have also been deployed outside the home of Jani Shah who is a close associate of Asad Kharal.

It is alleged that Asad Kharal has close connection with the brother of Sohail Anwar Siyal. The Rangers have also take ten other people into custody including former naib nazim Abid Bughio.

Efforts are underway to arrest Mansoor Abbasi, the nephew of former mayor Qurban Abbasi,  and Mansoor Mangi, the head clerk of Degree college, but they were not at home.

The news comes as Rangers said that there have launched a comprehensive operation against criminals and militants in Sindh.  This was announced by DG Rangers Major General Bilal Akbar who said that the operation has been launched under the National Action Plan.
