Rangers round up five ‘terrorists’ in Karachi

KARACHI: Rangers on Tuesday rounded up five suspected terrorists after raids in different areas of Karachi, ARY News reported.

Officials said that raids were conducted over intelligence tip-offs in Korangi, Baldia Town, Manghopir and North Nazimabad. Paramilitary personnel apprehended five suspects during the targeted operations and seized arms and ammunition from them.

The arrested suspects included two target killers linked with the militant wing of a political party, Rangers said, and three members of a banned outfit.

They were shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigation.
