Rangers to continue discharging duties till peace prevails in Karachi: Nawaz Sharif

LAHORE: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said in clear words that Rangers would continue with their operations till there was peace in Karachi, ARY News reported.

Speaking to media personnel in Lahore, the Prime Minister said terrorism incidents in the country were declining day by day. Nawaz also said Operation Zarb-e-Azb was yielding positive results. Nawaz also said issues were being dealt with India in a very positive way.

He said Pakistan played the role of a mediator by itself in the Saudi Arabia-Iran tensions. Nawaz also spoke about reduction in petroleum prices and said prices had already been lowered by rupees five.

Nawaz Sharif had also said that Rangers would continue to discharge their duties till peace was not restored in the city.
