Rasheed asks govt detractors to prove allegations in court

ISLAMABAD:  Federal Information Minister Pervez Rasheed has asked the government detractors to approach court to prove allegations ‘they claim to be concrete’ against the prime minister.

Talking to media moments after Imran Khan fired broadsides at the PM in his interaction with journalists, Rasheed said government had the responsibility to maintain law and order in the capital city and it would so so.

He said since 1951, October has been a ‘month of conspiracies’ for every prime minister in the country. He said Aitzaz Ahsan and Imran were casting allegations on a controversial news item.

“Decisions on streets are always detrimental for country and the democracy”, said the minister.

Rasheed said Khyber Pakhtonkhwa chief minister were also present in the meeting whose minutes were leaked to the particular newspaper.

He said those instigating protests and provoking masses had plans to hamper CPEC progress.
