Talking to media, the minister slammed Khan for granting Rs300 million to a ‘seminary known for producing terrorists’. He also urged Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to make use of the intellect he inherited from his mother and to ‘understand’ what the PTI chief is advocating.

Rasheed said no one acted upon what Khan said and the people won’t follow in future as well, adding, “Imran Khan is unable to get votes of the people and this is why he is threatening of protest demonstrations”.

Of late, the PTI-led government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) allocated Rs300 million for Darul Uloom Haqqania in the provincial budget that drew criticism from certain corners of society.

The party contends that the grant is aimed at assimilating seminary students in the society and to prevent them from radicalization.
