Long March

Rasheed suggests 'absconding' Imran to approach court

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Information Minister, Pervez Rasheed said Monday that Imran Khan is an absconder and suggested the chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) to appear before the court, ARY News reported.

Talking to media, Pervez Rasheed said Imran’s time has begun and he should fight his case in the court, instead of the media. He also suggested the PTI chairman to distance himself from the culture of terrorism.

“Those who once used to act upon the instructions of Tahirul Qadri are now abandoning their ties fearing the law”, said the Information Minister, adding that putting the blame of sit-ins’ failure on PMLN is similar to hide one’s own defeat.

Speaking about the appointment of the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC), Rasheed said talks will be held on this, after the return of Khursheed Shah to the country.
