Rather doing politics Imran should work for cricket, says Hashmi

MULTAN: Veteran politician Javed Hashmi on Tuesday suggested Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Imran Khan to work for betterment of Pakistan cricket rather doing politics, ARY News reported.

“People surrounding Chairman PTI will leave him nowhere in politics”, said Javed Hashmi.

Addressing a press conference at his residence in Multan, former PTI president Javed Hashmi said not even a single MNA of PTI has left his office and they still utilizing government funds.

“I respect Imran Khan much but his companions have dragged him in difficulties”, said Hasmi.

“Neither I a rival to anyone nor ally in politics”, he added.

Talking about cricket, Javed Hashmi expressed disappointment over Pakistan’s performance in the mega event.

He criticized Chief Selector Moin Khan for visiting casino by saying “At one side team performance is worst while he [Moin Khan] is enjoying in casino, it’s strange.”

Javed Hashmi further said that Najam Sethi should not involve himself in cricket affairs.
