Rauf Siddiqui reaches out to help recovered girls

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Rauf Siddiqui on Wednesday night reached Liaquatabad area and took custody of the 26 underage girls recovered by police, ARY News reported.

Acting on a tip-off from neighbors, Karachi police conducted the raid at a house in Liaquabad’s C1 area and recovered some girls, aged between 8 and 10.

Police sources say that the girls were brought to Karachi from Bajaur Agency and were imprisoned on the non-payment of 25000 rupees.

The MQM leader reached the spot after watching the news on ARY News and ordered that the girls be handed over to Orphanage.
