TORONTO: A street performer donning a Spider-Man costume foiled a robbery attempt outside a store in downtown Toronto.
In the video clip, we can see Spider-Man — identified as Mark Zilio, a street performer — holding on to a suspect female robber outside a costume shop until the security guards apprehend her.
The shop staff said that the burglar had bought a costume was trying to flee with items which she did not pay for.
The “Spider-Man” stated that he will continue his stint as a street performer. However, he jokingly said, that it was a “typical day in the life of Spider-Man and with great power comes great responsibility.”
Zilio said that he never wanted to get involved in these things as he did not want to lose his busking license.
