Reham Khan to visit Karachi for NA-246 campaign

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan’s wife Reham Khan will be coming to Karachi to help her husband in the election campaign for upcoming NA-246 by-polls, ARY News reported on Thursday.

Reham Khan has announced that she will not only visit the city but will go everywhere her husband will take her during the campaign.

Responding apparently to MQM chief Altaf Hussain’s invitation, Reham is reported to have said that she does not need the invitation from a foreign national to visit her own city. She is only coming to Karachi on the invitation of her brothers and sisters residing in the city.

“I am being called with such love and affection, how can I refuse”, said Reham.

Reham Khan maintained that people of NA-246 are her brothers and sisters and she is coming to the city upon their invitation adding that she has nothing to fear about in the city.

PTI candidate from the constituency Imran Ismail informed media that Mrs. Khan will arrive in Karachi on Thursday (today).

Earlier, MQM chief Altaf Hussain while welcoming Imran Khan in Karachi invited PTI chief to visit MQM headquarters Nine Zero with his wife Reham Khan.

PTI, MQM and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) will be contesting by-polls from the constituency which is traditionally considered a MQM stronghold.

The seat fell vacant after Nabil Gabol, who was elected on MQM ticket in the 2013 general elections, resigned from his seat.

PTI is going to hold a rally in Jinnah Ground where party chief Imran Khan and other leaders will convince voters to vote for PTI.
