Reham Khan in India to attend a conference
Reham, former wife of cricketer-cum-politician Imran Khan, crossed the border at Wagah and then passed through Amritsar where she paid her respects at the Golden Temple.
The India Today Conclave 2016 begins today in the Taj Palace Hotel in Delhi.
The conference is expected to stir debates and discussions on various important topics ranging from the much hyped Jawaharlal Nehru University row to the topic of nationalism and patriotism.
Bollywood actress, activist and entrepreneur Gul Panag will speak along with the famous Reham Khan. The two women will be speaking about empowering women across borders and the importance of peace and the ways to achieve it.
It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistani religious scholar Dr. Tahirul Qadri is also in New Delhi to attend International Sufi Conference. While Reham’s ex-husband and chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan is also expected to fly to India to watch Pakistan-India World T20 match in Kolkata.
Qadri and Imran jointly had led the anti-government protests in mid 2014 aimed at toppling the government.
