Relatives of Mastung attack victims protest over killings

QUETTA: The relatives of the victims that were killed in the Mastung incident are staging a sit-in with coffins of deceased in front of Governor and Chief Minister House here in Quetta, ARY News reports.

Unknown gunmen attacked a passenger bus near Mastung en route to Karachi on Friday night and killed 21 passengers and took 35 people hostage.

Chief Minister Balochistan Abdul Malik Baloch while expressing grief over the carnage vowed to bring the culprits of deadly attack to justice.

A three-day mourning has been announced by the provincial government over the incident.

No provincial minister or official of the district administration came to the hospital to condole the families of the victims.

The protesters decided to continue their protest after talks between them and the government officials failed.

Security agencies conducted an operation in different parts of Mastung in the wake of the terrorist incident last night.

The relatives of the deceased have demanded the government to bring the culprits to justice. They have also stated that the protest will continue until their demands are met.
