CHISHTIAN: Karachi’s #FixIt-inspired, Remove It campaign kicks off in Punjab with Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif’s pictures on the garbage dumps.
The popular campaign in Karachi, #FixIt was launched by a social activist Alamgir Khan to highlight issues being faced by common men. The campaigners of this campaign received huge media attention after they put former chief minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah’s pictures along open manholes and garbage dumps.
On the other hand, activists of Remove It campaign are displaying Shehbaz Sharif’s pictures on garbage dumps in Chishtian city demanding from the provincial government to clean their areas.
The government’s inefficiency has turned many areas of this city into garbage dumps.
