ISLAMABAD: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested a person who uploaded a fake image of Chief Justice of Pakistan Saqib Nisar meeting with President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on social media, ARY News reported.
According to FIA, the person who uploaded the image was identified as Imran and he works for Rescue 1122.
Earlier, a judicial magistrate handed two suspects Adnan and Majid — accused of posting doctored images of the apex judge — over to FIA on five-day judicial remand.
FIA informed the court that the investigation agency has concrete evidences against Adnan and Majid. However, they are yet to recover the laptop from which the picture was uploaded from.
The court handed the two suspects over to FIA for investigation.
