Misbah-ul-Haq, speaking to media at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, said that receiving the International Cricket Council (ICC) test mace is a memorable moment of his cricket career.
It should be noted that ICC CEO David Richardson awarded the test mace to Misbah-ul-Haq on Pakistan’s reaching to the top of the ranking in the world under his leadership
“Retaining the top test ranking will be the biggest challenge ahead,” he added.
ICC CEO Dave Richardson, speaking on the occasion, said that he was pleased to present the test mace to Pakistan and congratulated the team on becoming the No. 1 test side.
The ICC official stated that he was aware of the difficulties being faced by the country. Richardson said, “We hope that the situation will improve and international teams visit to the country.”
Richardson lauded the leadership of Misbah. He expressed his well wishes for the team and the cricket board of Pakistan.
