But do you know how much this Indian comedy superstar earns per day?
Well, the figure could just beyond your imagination. For his matchless talent and demand in the country, he charges a bomb per episode. Let’s first take a look at what his other counterparts are earning as per DNAIndia report.
The report says that Sunil Grover aka Doctor saab gets around Rs 10-12 lakhs per day. Navjot Singh Sidhu also earns around Rs 8-10 lakhs everyday.
Sumona Charavarti now charges around Rs 6-7 lakh per day while both Kiku Sharda and Ali Asgar get Rs 5-7 lakhs a day. Among the other cast, Chandan Prabhakar gets around Rs 4 lakh and Rochelle Rao’s fee is around Rs 3-4 lakh per episode.
And finally here’s how much Kapil earns per show. His fees are somewhere in the range of Rs 60-80 lakhs per episode.
Kapil Sharma decided to venture out of Colors and start a show on his own. He was soon contacted by rival channel Sony TV who took the bait and launched their own comedy show The Kapil Sharma Show.
One of the fore-runners in the TV scenario currently, Kapil’s show is the most watched show on the channel and one of the highest TRP raking shows across all channels.
Definitely, the stakes were high and despite the initial hiccups, the show has maintained its stead in the race.
Mr. Sharma had massive fallout earlier this year with Colours, post which the channel decided to replace Comedy Nights with Kapil with Comedy Nights Live and Comedy Nights Bachao and roped in Krushna Abhishek to step into Kapil’s shows. After seven months, Kapil is back on Colors.
Despite the creative differences, Kapil’s CNWK is now airing on the channel.
It’s something that has happened only recently. The show is finally on the TV again.
Recently, the scriptwriter of The Kapil Sharma Show, Ram Abhishek Singh was arrested on charges of murder, prompting shock among team members of the show.
According to BollywoodLife, the UP police was tracking Ram alias Kera Singh for over seven years in connection with a double murder case in AzamGarh.
According to reports, in 2009, Abhishek and his uncle had gunned down an arch rival from his village and had fatally injured three more people.
