According to an Indian news agency, the producers of Robot 2 are searching for big names to star in the films.
What’s more, Terminator star Arnold Schwarzenegger makes his Indian film debut with the sequel. He will be flying down for the film’s first schedule in January to play a rogue robot.
“Arnold and I discuss a lot of Indian movies. He attended the audio launch of my Vikram starrer, I, and told me that he wanted to work in Tamil films, Shankar confirmed.
Rajnikanth, who portrayed the protagonist in the prequel Robot, has agreed to return for the sequel.
The news agency also reported that a spokesman of the production house filming Robot 2 stated that they can’t comment on the film as yet as things are in the initial stages.
