Ruet-e-Hilal Committee meets today for Zil-Hajj moon sighting

KARACHI: The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet in Karachi on Monday (today) to decide about sighting of the Zil-Hajj moon, ARY News reported.

Mufti Muneebur Rehman will chair the meeting of the moon sighting body.

The zonal moon sighting committees will meet at their respective headquarters for the purpose.

In Saudi Arabia, the Zil-Hajj moon was not sighted on Sunday and Eid ul Azha (the feast of sacrifice) will be observed on September 24th.

Mufti Popalzai, the head of non-government moon sighting body in Peshawar, had earlier announced that the Eid ul Azha will be celeberated on September 24.
