SA adopts resolution against ‘Sindh division’

KARACHI: Sindh Assembly on Thursday adopted a resolution, opposing any division of Sindh, ARY News reported.

Ruckus also erupted during the assembly proceedings when opposition members led by opposition leader Shehryar Khan Mehar argued with the deputy speaker Shehla Raza for not letting them move their resolution and adjournment motion.

They later staged a walkout from the assembly in protest. MQM lawmakers had already boycotted the assembly proceedings over their reservations against arrest of party workers by Rangers on Wednesday night.

The resolution, which was passed in absence of opposition and the MQM, was jointly moved by the PPP members.
