Police informed the Judicial Magistrate (South) court that the police contingents are deployed for the security of Youm-e-Ali (R.A) processions due to which the accused could not be produced in the court.

The court ordered the police to produce accused Saeed Bharam before court on June 28.

The court had granted five days physical remand of Saeed Bharam to police for investigation.

Accused MQM worker has been booked in scores of murder, attempt to murder and other cases.

Saeed Bharam was arrested from Abu Dhabi with the help of Interpol, and said to be key leader of the militant wing of the party.

He is allegedly involved in bomb blasts, targeted killings, kidnappings, murders and other serious offences.

He had reportedly escaped out of country after the law enforcement agencies launched a crackdown on terrorists and criminals in Karachi, in 2013.
