Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor will work together!

TOP NEWS

Though Shahid Kapoor in more than a couple movies with Bollywood beauty Kareena Kapoor and also been romantically involved with her in the past, both parted ways after she chose Saif Ali Khan over him. Though the two seem to have buried the past and have worked in films together (currently as well the two are filming Udta Punjab), Saif and Shahid have never had a chance to work together.

Well, good news for fans who longed to see both leading actors show off their acting skills together. As Saif confirmed himself recently at a mobile launch event in New Delhi, both actors will now be seen in a Vishal Bhardwaj project. Saif Ali Khan has previously worked in a Vishal Bhardwaj project in the critically acclaimed Omkara, opposite Kareena Kapoor, Ajay Devgan, Vivek Oberoi and Bipasha Basu. The 44 year old actor seemed excited at the chance to work with Vishal again.

“Yes, I’m working with him. I don’t know the script, but I don’t think its ‘King Lear’. It’s something else, so I’m excited to be working with him again. I think we do really good work together,” Saif told IANS.

Saif Ali Khan has recently wrapped up shooting for his upcoming movie Phantom, in which he will be seen opposite Katrina Kaif. The movie will release on August 28 this year and is a counter terrorism drama plot. Kareena and Shahid Kapoor have both moved on and found love after ending their relationship. Whilst everyone seems to be aware of the Saifeena duo of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, Shahid revealed last month that he planned to marry soon. If media reports are to be believed, Shahid is getting hitched to a college going girl named Mira Rajput.

Let’s hope all goes well and the two Bollywood heavyweights work together in a professional, harmonious manner to give fans the best film they can come up with!
