The couple strengthened rumours when they made a public appearance at Preity Zinta’s wedding reception. However, speaking to Mumbai Mirror, Salman rubbished the rumours and said that if he would get married he would make the announcement himself as it would be a proud moment for him.
Taking an apparent dig at yesteryear actors, Salman told the tabloid, “If I had got engaged or was getting married, I wouldn’t wait for the news to leak out. I would announce it myself…thode hi main chup rahoonga like those yesteryear stars who hid their wives thinking that it would lessen their fan following…”
Salman and Iulia were recently seen at the airport with his mother Salma, and from the looks of it, Iulia seems to have gained lot of love and support from his family too. After being single for long, Salman has been talking about marriage and it’s a wait and watch situation for his fans who are eager to see if their favourite star settles into matrimony.
Reports are abuzz that Khan might tie the knot with his Romanian girlfriend on his birthday, December 27, this year. At a recent event, Arbaaz was quizzed about the same. Arbaaz didn’t deny the rumours, however, he refused to comment saying it wasn’t the right time to talk about it.
Indian media reports claim that the Khan household has already fixed a wedding date for the duo.
And unsurprisingly, the actor’s close friends suggest that Sallu will tie the knot on December 27, which also happens to be his 51st birthday. If everything goes according to plan, the ‘Khan’-daan will see double celebrations in the month of December.
