Salman Khan faces a trouble in Blackbuck case

TOP NEWS

Salman Khan Blackbuck hunting case is not hidden from anyone, the trouble came when Supreme Court of India set aside the Rajasthan Court’s order which gave Salman stay in his conviction on his plea.

The 49-year-old actor Salman Khan was involved along with Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Neelam and Tabu in a blackbuck poaching case. The actor is accused of killing two rare blackbucks and he has been sentenced to 5 year incarceration . The incident occurred in 1998 in Rajasthan when Salman and colleagues were shooting for their film ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’. Earlier in November 2014 the actor was given a stay on his conviction from Rajasthan High Court on his plea to travel to United Kingdom to shoot for a movie.

A twist came when a top court bench of SC remanded the case to state court for reconsideration. Justice of SC pronounced the verdict and said that Salman could go to the court to tell that he would suffer irreversible damage if his conviction is not stayed and if he is later acquitted.

This sudden development in this high profile case was witnessed when Rajasthan government approached the SC seeking nullification of the stay on Salman’s conviction.
