No one can quite liven up our Eid like Salman Khan.
Bollywood’s favourite Khan has started shooting a song titled Aaj ki party meri taraf se with his Bajrangi Bhaijaan co-star Kareena Kapoor. According to a leading Indian newspaper, Mika Sindh will lend his voice for the song whilst it will be penned by Shabbir Ahmed and choreographed by the famous Remo D’souza. The song will be released on Eid and will be a party number (as can obviously be expected from the name).
Dhinka chika, Jumme ki raat and Hangover were all super hit songs of Sallu Mian that propelled his films towards greater success. These songs connected with the masses on a big level and furthered Salman Khan’s popularity. However, this will be the first time that a song will be made which would not be part of the storyline of the film.
“The idea was to come up with a celebratory song for Eid which would not be incorporated in the film. But you will see both Salman and Kareena dancing to the party number in the video.”
Looks like Salman Khan has his sights set on making Bajrangi Bhaijaan the movie of the year. After a fabulous hit song titled Selfie Le Le Re was released for the movie, news of this party song coming soon is bound to spike interest in the movie before it releases. Most of Salman’s recent films such as Kick, Ek Tha Tiger, Wanted and Dabangg were all released on Eid.
The song will be released next week. It will be interesting to see Salman and Kareena shake a leg to another groovy, party anthem!
