Sanctity of mosques, seminaries, imambargahs ensured during raids: Rangers

KARACHI: Sindh Rangers on Sunday said the pictures made viral on social media by miscreants claiming law enforcement agencies personnel desecrated sacred places are evading truth, ARY News reported.

“The purpose of such photos is equal to putting hurdle in the way of operation. Sanctity of mosques, seminaries and imambargahs is ensured during search operations carried out on tip-off,” a Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) press release said.

Sindh Rangers have made appeal from people to support Rangers in operation against insurgents by dismissing misguiding propaganda.

Rangers have also appealed to inform about any miscreant to a nearby Rangers checkpost or Rangers helpline 1101, Wahtsapp number: 0316-2369996 and email address: [email protected].

ARY News reporter Salman Lodhi said Rangers will approach Federal Investigation Agency would be approached against the social media accounts spreading such propaganda which is harming the operation against criminals.

Another reporter Kamil Arif said Cyber Crime Wing of FIA has been moved to help in this regard against the miscreants.
