Sanjay Dutt meets fortune-teller to seek guidance

SANJAY DUTT

Embroiled in a controversy following his arrest in bomb blast case, Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt has now approached a fortune-teller to show him a road ahead.

The actor invited renowned astrologer Jeetendra Patel to his Pali Hill home recently, to get an idea of what the future has in store for him.  And, much to the actor’s relief, most of it was good news.

The Pandit has also told him that Manyata (the actor’s wife) is his Devi. In fact, he has asked Sanjay to start all his projects in her name.”

Reports said that Sanjay was thrilled to hear about his future good fortune. He however, has some cause for concern as far as Manyata’s health is concerned. Jeetendraji told the Sanju that his wife might suffer from weak metabolism. Her driving force, the astrologer explained, is her willpower and confidence.

Dutt was released from prison in February this year after serving about four years for possessing weapons supplied by gangsters behind a series of bomb blasts in Mumbai in 1993.

The disgraced star kissed the ground as he walked free from the jail in the western city of Pune, after authorities decided to release him ahead of schedule for good behaviour.

Dutt was originally sentenced to a six-year term after being convicted in 2006 of possessing guns supplied by mafia bosses who orchestrated the series of bombings in Mumbai that killed 257 people.

He spent 18 months in prison before being released on bail in 2007, pending an appeal.

In March 2013, the Supreme Court upheld his conviction but cut his prison term from six years to five.

Dutt was later granted four extra weeks of freedom to work on unfinished movies and went back to jail in May that year to serve the remaining three-and-a-half years of his sentence.
