Pakistan apprises UN of Indian aggression at LoC

ISLAMABAD: Adviser to Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz on Sunday telephoned the Secretary General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon and informed him on the current situation at the Line of Control and Working Boundary, ARY News reported.

Aziz apprised the UN chief of damages inflicted in Pakistan side at LoC and the Working Boundary through Indian firing.

He reiterated Pakistan was capable of giving befitting response to any Indian aggression.

The PM’s adviser said India should be stopped from unprovoked aggression at the LoC.

Pakistan wants resolution to all prevailing issues including Kashmir, he reiterated.

During the conversation, Ban-Ki Moon said both the countries should resolve the issue through dialogue.
