The Adviser receiving the delegation noted that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoy an exemplary relationship. He said that the ties between the two countries are marked by shared fraternity and brotherhood, religion, culture and common interests. He said that there was similarity of perceptions and understanding on regional as well as international issues between the two countries. The Adviser stated that recent high level bilateral visits have further cemented the already close ties between the two countries.
The visiting Speaker expressed his gratitude and conveyed good wishes on behalf of the custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. He said that close cooperation exists between the two countries at regional as well as international level. The situations in Syria and Yemen also came up for discussion. The two sides agreed that the unity of Muslim nations was essential to deal with terrorism and violent extremism.
