The execution will be carried out 5:30am at the jail. This will be first hanging at Mach Jail after eight-year period.
On Monday, Supreme Court turned down a petition filed by Mirza against the return of his second review appeal.
Sardar Latif Khosa appeared before the court on behalf of Saulat Mirza during the hearing.
Sindh High Court rejected Mirza’s sister Samira Wajahat’s challenging the anti-terrorism court’s (ATC) decision to hang her brother in Balochistan’s Machh jail and seeking his transfer to Karachi.
The petitioner had pleaded to the court that the ATC’s orders regarding her brother’s execution in Machh jail should be stopped.
An ATC had awarded death sentence to Saulat Mirza in May 1999 for murdering the then managing director of Karachi Electric Supply Corporation Shahid Hamid, his driver Ashraf Brohi and guard Khan Akbar in July 1997.
