SBP rejects reports of issuing high-valued currency notes

KARACHI: State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has rejected the rumors of issuing Rs. 10,000/- or banknotes of higher values, ARY News reports.

SBP, while rejecting the rumors of issuance of high value banknotes being circulated on social media, said that it does not plan to issue them.

The state bank added that the current currency notes are fulfilling the trade requirements of the economy.
